
This week, we’re shaking up a Thyme Amaretto Sour. This cocktail mixes rich amaretto with the bright notes of lemon thyme simple syrup.
INGREDIENTS
- 1.5 oz. — Amaretto
- 0.5 oz. — Bourbon
- 1 oz. — Lemon Juice
- 0.5 oz. — Lemon Thyme Simple Syrup
- 1 — Egg White
- 2 -3 Sprigs — Fresh Thyme
HOW TO MAKE IT
- Drop a small handful of thyme leaves into a shaker with lemon juice, then muddle.
- Drop in an egg white, then vigorously give it a dry shake (no ice) until the mixture is foamy.
- Add ice into the shaker and shake again until chilled.
- Strain into a coupe glass and garnish with fresh thyme.
